At Freshfield Road the client had a few preferences from their previous property and wanted some help to develop a vision for their family home that incorporated them. Some time spent looking for inspiration on Pinterest and Instagram soon enabled us to refine some themes that would affect their choice of interior specifications. The main themes were Scandinavian meets edgy modern, grey colour scheme. The results included a stunning, largely open plan ground floor incorporating a large, light kitchen extension using lots of glass to maximise the natural light. The use of bifold doors mean that when the sun is out, the family can invite the garden into the kitchen.
The Scandinavian theme influencing the kitchen is then carried through the rest of the house with light oak flooring in the kitchen extension, and original floorboards, sanded and lacquered through the rest of the house. This is all then tied together with a consistent modern, grey colour scheme all the way up to the loft.
