At Portland Road the client needed the full end to end package. Caliper worked with them to develop their overall vision for the new spaces before producing drawings and applying for planning permission. Once the general layout was resolved the team helped the client by producing mood boards and interior specifications that reflected their taste. Caliper even helped organise the accommodation for the clients for the duration of the project. The end result is a beautiful open kitchen, leading through to a large dining room in the extension that benefits good use of natural light.

The snug at the front of the house is kept separate with a set of bespoke handmade steel doors, and has a new wood burning stove to add to the cosy feel. The loft conversion consists of two new bedrooms, a shower room and a separate WC. The staircase has been designed so that the loft space feels like a natural extension to the house.
